From a young age, art, creativity and curiosity was part of her DNA.
Artist, graphic designer, and researcher interested in nature, art and innovation.
Her first fine art medium was oil paint at the age of nine. Olga studied graphic design, learnt various artistic techniques, and perfected acrylic painting. In 1997, her thesis focused on paper and its various manufacturing methods. She has over 32 years of study and practice in various ancestral disciplines such as Mexican herbalism, Taoism, alchemy, geometry, and sacred mathematics. As well as entrepreneurship and business models.
Her sources and characters of inspiration are Albrecht Dürer, the Celtic world, Queen Victoria, and women pioneers in their fields from the Victorian era: the painter Marianne North, the photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, and the spiritual and mystical Danish artist Hilma af Klint.
Her artistic practice focuses on flowers, botany, ancestral wisdom, and alchemical and intuitive experimentation. As an artist-alchemist, Olga experiments with various techniques and mediums such as conté, pastel, charcoal, pencil, acrylic, ink, and calligraphy on rice paper, among others. In recent years, she has worked with watercolour for its luminosity and versatility, creating her own alchemical palette of colours. Since 2022, her thematic focus has been on the dahlia, the Mexican national flower, cultivated by the Mexicas and Aztecs as medicine, food, and ornament, whose legacy transcends its ancestors and extends worldwide.
